Privacy policy
Purpose and retention of data In compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, n. 196) Digital Library Pavia guarantees that the collection of data, and their subsequent processing, is part of the performance of the institutional functions.Data processing The data processing, regardless of the way it is carried out (manual or computerized) and according to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, includes: collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, diffusion, communication, cancellation and destruction of data. The treatment lasts for a period not exceeding the necessary time to process data.Rights of the interested party As part of the protections that the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 recognizes, the interested party always has the right to:- know the existence or not of personal data concerning him, and their origin;
- be informed by the owner of the purposes and methods of treatment;
- obtain from the owner that his data can be updated, corrected and/or integrated;
- object in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data concerning him;
- request the blocking of the processed data if a violation of the law is detected.
The data controller is the University of Pavia, with registered office in Pavia, Corso Strada Nuova 65.
